Octotel 25/25Mbps Product – Terms and Conditions

  • Octotel 25/25Mbps Package is valid for sign-ups in all areas on the Octotel Fibre Network.
  • Existing customers on the Octotel network cannot migrate, downgrade, or cancel and re-order Fibre for their existing address to receive this product. This includes customers switching internet service providers to RSAWEB but remaining on Octotel.
  • If new customers switch to RSAWEB on the Octotel network from their existing ISP and fibre provider, they can be credited with up to R1000. To redeem the switch credit, customers must use the SWITCH promo code during the order process online and need to supply the latest fibre invoice and proof of cancellation for the same address and in the same name as the order being placed with RSAWEB.
  • If the fibre internet service with RSAWEB is downgraded within 12 months of the service going live, the customer will be liable to pay an R250 downgrade fee as well as pay back the value of the promotional offer received during their initial 12-month period with RSAWEB, i.e. the difference between the standard monthly service fee and the promotional monthly service for every month the discount was applied, as well as the value of any switch credit applied and used.
  • If the customer cancels within 12 months they will be liable to pay back the value of the promotional offer received during their initial 12-month period with RSAWEB, i.e. the difference between the standard monthly service fee and the promotional monthly service for every month the discount was applied, as well as the value of any switch credit applied and used.
  • The cancellation clawback will also include the value of the free-to-use-router, free setup (installation and/or connection fees) received, as well as the value of any other promotional discounts or credits(i.e. ISP Switch – R1000 credit).
