How to Switch from Another ISP to RSAWEB
Thinking of moving from your current Internet Service Provider (ISP)? Switching to RSAWEB, South Africa’s best-rated ISP, is simple.
Once you’ve placed the cancellation with your current ISP, you can submit a new order with RSAWEB – and we’ll take care of the rest.
Be mindful of any waiting period your ISP may require. Once that’s done, RSAWEB steps in quickly to get you connected within 24–72 hours, ensuring minimal downtime and a smooth transition to better internet.
Am I Stuck in a Fixed-term Contract?
Not at all. RSAWEB’s Fibre packages are month-to-month, giving you the freedom to cancel when you need to. However, standard notice periods and cancellation fees apply.
If you cancel within the first 12 months, the Fibre Network Operator (FNO) setup fee or a R999 cancellation fee (whichever is greater) will be charged. After 12 months, only the R999 cancellation fee applies.
You also have the option to pay the setup fee upfront, which means no cancellation fees will apply if you decide to cancel later. (Please note: this excludes promotional offers where monthly discounts are applied – any discounts received become payable if the service is cancelled within the first 12 months).
You still get the flexibility and control of a month-to-month service without being tied into a long-term contract.
What If Fibre Isn’t Available in My Area?
If fibre isn’t available in your area yet, RSAWEB offers Fixed LTE internet as a reliable alternative. You can still enjoy fast, wireless internet while waiting for fibre to roll out.

Can I Upgrade or Downgrade My Fibre Speed Later On?

This means faster streaming, quicker downloads, and smoother surfing, perfect for families who want to use the internet simultaneously without any lag. Say goodbye to buffering while binge-watching your favourite shows! Please note that for packages 100Mbps and above, ensure your router is compatible, contact us if you’re unsure.
Downgrade: If you need to scale back, downgrades take effect on the first of each new month. Just make sure to request it before the 20th; otherwise, it’ll roll over to the next month. A once-off downgrade fee of R250 applies (FNO dependent). Keep in mind that a lower line speed may result in slower downloads and increased buffering, especially when multiple devices are connected.
