FAQs

Fibre to the Business

With an FTTB (Fibre to the Business) package you will receive a more premium service when compared to an FTTH (Fibre to the Home) package. You will be assigned an Account Manager who will serve as a point of contact for RSAWEB. Your traffic will be prioritised over the network which allows us to guarantee 95% up-time over these packages. Should you run into any technical difficulties you will receive priority from our Support Team to ensure you are connected as soon as possible.
No, FTTH packages will not be installed for a business. This is a stipulation enforced by the Fibre Network operators in your area. Only certain ISPs are able to provide a business grade Fibre service as they need to adhere to added service level agreements that come with a business-grade Fibre service and they need to have a capacity to provide adequate support for businesses. Should you try to order an FTTH package for your business it will eventually be blocked by the Fibre network operator you are trying to connect to.

Keep in mind that when you sign up for a Fibre service there are essentially 2 companies who will be responsible for delivering this service – the Fibre network operator and your ISP. Therefor we are dependent on timelines we receive from the Fibre network operators to have the infrastructure installed. If the relevant Fibre network is present, live and terminating in your office space, installations can be carried out within 7 business days.

All business-grade Fibre services are unshaped, uncapped and will not be throttled for the duration of your service.
Yes, all business-grade Fibre services are uncapped.
On month-to-month contracts there is a 12-month term whereby if your installation was covered by RSAWEB, you will need to reimburse RSAWEB for the installation that was covered on your behalf. Should you cancel after 12 months there will be no cancellation fees. A 12-month or 24-month contract will be upheld accordingly.

This is relevant to your online needs and we have Account Managers who can assist you in determining what speeds/packages would best suit your business’s unique needs. Contact us today.

We can offer month-to-month, 12-month and 24-month contracts applicable to each Fibre network operator.
