Delivery Fee 

A delivery fee is applicable to all hardware orders, including but not limited to the free-to-use router, SIM cards, and any additional hardware items purchased or gifted, such as a mini UPS device. This delivery fee is to be paid in full on the first invoice and is determined based on your selection. The fee will be added to the total payable during the checkout process. 

Connectivity Service Upgrade and Hardware Swap-Out 

If a customer chooses to upgrade their connectivity service to a package that necessitates a different or upgraded router from RSAWEB, a courier surcharge of R390 will apply. This surcharge includes a R195.00 collection fee for the retrieval of the current router and a R195 delivery fee for the new router. 

Relocation with RSAWEB-Supplied Router 

Customers who are relocating to a new residence and have been provided with the original RSAWEB-supplied free-to-use router for their existing connectivity service must use this router at their new residence when migrating their service. If an upgraded service is ordered for the new residence and requires an upgraded router, courier collection and delivery fees will be incurred. 

Delivery in Outlying Areas 

Deliveries to outlying areas may experience a delay of 24 to 72 hours, as these areas are serviced by the courier only 1-2 times a week. 

Address Modification Policy 

Please note that delivery addresses cannot be modified on the same day as your scheduled delivery. In such cases, your shipment will be rescheduled for the following business day. 

Connectivity Hardware

FREE-TO-USE ROUTER 

The standard router provided with your service is complimentary but remains the property of RSAWEB for the duration of your service. 

To minimise our carbon footprint, RSAWEB recycles routers. Our pre-owned routers undergo a thorough refurbishment process, ensuring they are cleaned, inspected, and restored to a “good as new” condition. 

If you choose to cancel your service, you have two options regarding the router:  

  1. Purchase Option: The router can be acquired for its retail value. 
  2. Return Option: Alternatively, you may return the router to RSAWEB in its original condition, including all originally provided accessories such as LAN cable and power cable. 

Please make sure to include your name and RSAWEB customer code when returning the router. 

In the event that we do not receive the router within the 10-day router-return period, you will be invoiced for the router, and it will become your property.  

Once payment for the router is received, it is no longer owned by RSAWEB, and we assume no responsibility for any damage or defects. 

For order and service cancellations, all courier costs associated with returning the router are your responsibility. 

Please be aware that if you do not initially choose a free-to-use router when placing your fibre order, you will not be eligible to claim any credit against your service for the absence of a router in your delivery.
